The Villa kind of belongs to Hotel Patatran (750m away, where you'll have find breakfast buffet included in your rate). but is managed separately. + Super friendly and accomodating host who went above and beyond to organize transportation and luggage storage on the day of departure (late ferry). Luggage storage is also possible at the hotel. + Very quiet, away from the all the people. (you're going to need a bike, the nearest supermarket is 30+ min away. PS: the tap water was fine to drink) + Big and clean room + Very well equipped shared kitchens (one on the ground floor in the reception area, another on the first floor) with free coffee (instant) + Small fridge in the room in addition to the larger one in the shared kitchen

There were lots of plants and flowers around which made the campus look even more beautiful. The food was great.

I was traveling alone, it was very important for me to feel safe. There is always someone in the hotel, close by, it is very safe, everyone is very friendly. Jennita greeted me beautifully, with a refreshing drink. Very convenient that you can rent a bike right at the hotel, for a good price. The location is great, there is a big supermarket nearby. The kitchen has everything you need. Also, very clean, my room was cleaned every day. During my vacation I felt like I was treated not as a guest but as a close relative. For any of my requests I was helped, I got everything and even more. 100 percent recommendation, you are lucky if there is a free place here and you can be accommodated.

Location was perfect, 20 minutes walking from ferry, 2 very good takeaway 2 minutes from structure. Nice balcony in front of the room, little garden with chairs and flowers. They hire bikes for SCR 10 per day. Good breakfast, possibility to have dinner. Staff very nice and helpful, it is a family run business.

We recently stayed at Calou Guest House and were thoroughly impressed. The place was incredibly clean and beautifully decorated, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The room felt like having our own private bungalow. There truly is no better place to stay on La Digue. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa which is well located and really well equipped on the beautiful island of La Digue. Communication with the manager was really smooth and he went out of his way to arrange ferry port transfers and cycles for our stay (as that’s the best way to commute on this small island). He also accommodated to keep our luggage as our ferry was at a later time, and provided shower to wash and change even after we had vacated the room! He helped us with navigation tips when we reached which really helped us cover a lot of things in our short stay. Would totally recommend this to anyone who wishes to visit the island. We also had an unfortunate incident when our bike broke down. But we communicated with the host and our bike was replaced smoothly. Thank you so much for that!! The breakfast was also extremely delicious and freshly made. Extremely helpful host and special mention to the manager who really made our trip easy and comfortable.
