My wife and I stayed at the Tulip for 11 days on what was a mix of a work and leisure trip. The location is a small quaint boutique guesthouse with the two friendliest and kindest hosts I’ve ever stayed with. The location is excellent with the Hagia Sophia being a ten minute walk away. For any help in arranging taxis or information on tours and activities just contact Ahmed at the front desk. Have never known anyone to be more helpful. The family running the hotel gives a lot of importance to cleanliness which was a major concern for me before travelling to Istanbul. But I was more than satisfied with how diligently they cleaned and maintained the place. Hot water was always easily and readily available. Would fully recommend this hotel to all those wanting to visit Istanbul and getting a taste of the old city.

Ahmet Efendi Evi offers non-smoking rooms, a 24-hour front desk and breakfast serving fresh bread, fruits and cheese. It is 15 minutes’ walk to Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace.

The staff was so helpful! Not only with our questions about transfers etc. But also with advice to where to go and what to eat. The location is also excellent, very close to Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern etc.

Easy check in, staff was very polite and room was very clean. All fittings were working well including electrical points, air condition, excellent water pressure and warm water in bathroom. Location was great near historic sites, restaurants and convenient stores that are open till late night

Everything is wonderful! Location, View, Equipment, Service etc. The apartment has also a nice view! The guys here are always available and friendly. Can't appreciate more for all the help! Surely recommended to all!

The best welcome at the hotel a person could ask for! It was my very first time in Istanbul and after long journey they first invited me to sit, drink some Turkish tea and tell something about myself. What a lovely stuff, a place the people want to come back to. Everything what's needed in the room is provided. Excellent price and location. See you next time! PS also jewellery shop in front of the hotel lobby is simply amazing.

This was a beautiful room with amazing views over the water. It was easy to find and in a great neighbourhood. The hosts were very active & quick to help with anything.

The Hotel location was perfect close to Taksim Square, Galata Tower, Galata Port and Istaklal Street. Beside the Hotel there was little Marketplace that has MacDonald, Burger King, KFC and many more.... The Hotel Receptionist was very kind and helpful his name was Mohamed. The cleaning crew were very nice and polite
