Great hospitality. Comes with tea, coffee, fresh milk, bottled water. Place was so clean and so cozy. Fully equipped with a TV, wifi, air conditioning. Definitely great 10/10. The attention to detail was everything. From the little treats left on the bedside to the rusk biscuits which were so thoughtful. Super friendly owners. This will definitely be a place I would want to come back to.

We loved this beautiful and private house with its magnificent views of bush, wildlife and birdlife. We especially enjoyed the glorious sunsets and stargazing from the veranda and had the option of doing so from the fire-driven hot tub. A fire pit is also located below. The owners provided wood for the barbecue and tub. The house has two very spacious bedrooms - both with bathrooms with tubs and walk-in showers - and super comfortable beds. The kitchen is big and well stocked with nearly every amenity including an ice maker. The owners warned us of a pot-hole ridden kilometre or so of road to the house, but it was easily nagivated with a regular car. The town of Winterton is about 10-15 minutes' drive and has a couple of stores if you run short of self-catering supplies. Wine and beer is also available in the house and payable via an honesty box. Details of trail walks and runs are also in the house for more athletic types. Cathedral Peak Wine Estate is 5 minutes away for wine tastings and food. Loved our stay!

What a wonderful place! We had such an amazing time, everything was just perfect. The location is brilliant, great views of the mountains, convenient for trips and close enough to shops. Accommodation was spotless and had everything you need for your stay and daily clean just helped to stay relaxed. Pool was clean and warm. The staff is very helpful and helped us with short trips. I can recommend the birds of prey show or walk to the waterfalls from Drakensburg Sun. And the bakery nearby has some mean desserts 🎂 We will definitely come again!
