The best location in teth, right in the center, across from the info center. The family that runs the place us so warm and welcoming, constantly surprising us with plates of fruit and food. The facility is brand new. I can't speak highly enough about our experience. Theth is magical. The stat was phenomenal

We had a fantastic time at Valter & Dritas and found it to be great value! It is located in the hills, just above Theth and provides stunning views of the valley. A peaceful and tranquil environment to relax in. The guesthouse is run by the family, who are excellent hosts and very genuine lovely people. They provided breakfast and dinner throughout our time there, which was home cooked and delicious. There was a good range of food available and we enjoyed slowly exploring the menu during our time there. We had 3 full days in Theth, during which we hiked the Valbona Pass, Blue Eye Kaprre and Grunas waterfall. Valbona Pass, is a tough but stunning walk which is well worth the effort. The Blue Eye was excellent too, the water was crisp and refreshing, the perfect respite from the Albanian heat. This walk is deceptively challenging and we’d recommend getting a taxi to the drop off location. Grunas waterfall was a fun hike and slightly less demanding after the other hikes. They have fresh spring water at the guesthouse which is safe to drink, so no need to bring bottled water with you. There are cute dogs, cats and chickens around the residence. If you like to sleep in, I’d bring ear plugs as the cockerels do their thing in the mornings. Overall, we had a great time. Whether you are looking for exciting and challenging hikes around the Albanian Alps or just want to unwind and relax in the hills.

We loved our 3 night stay. The location was perfect, close to the Church and near the start of the Grunas Waterfall/Blue Eye trek. We arrived quite late and they were very kind by making a huge dinner for us at only €15 per person without having booked it before. Breakfast was always filling and on two occasions it was in a buffet style. The bathroom was connected to our room and the mountain view from the balcony was fantastic. The owners were lovely and communication was great. They spoke in English too. We would definitely recommend the guesthouse.

Our stay at the Freskia guesthouse was perfect. The view is beautiful, the rooms are very cozy, but what surprised us the most was the breakfast, which was included in the price of the room and was very well served, simply WONDERFUL. The owner of the place welcomed us very well and was always available. In addition to serving breakfast, there is a restaurant on site where you can have dinner for 12 euros per person. We had dinner there two nights and loved it, the food was very tasty. In short, we highly recommend this place!

Το Marash Rrgalla Guesthouse βρίσκεται σε Theth, σε απόσταση 600μ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Εθνικό Πάρκο Theth και προσφέρει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, κοινόχρηστο χώρο... What an amazing experience!! Marash and Albina were such kind and generous hosts, and were quite communicative despite the language barrier. Definitely have breakfast and dinners at the property/farm; the food is plentiful, fresh, delicious (especially the dairy from their cow and my boyfriend loved the breakfast petulla!). The homemade wine was delicious as well. The view from the garden and our room was simply amazing. We loved how the mountains changed depending on time of day and lighting. The room itself was rustic and simple, but comfortable. Thank you Marash and Albina, as well as Fred and Martina. And special shout-out to Sweety, the friendliest cat I’ve ever met!!! Warning: It is definitely a challenge to find and get to the property from Theth main village- either a 40 minute hike or 15 minute bumpy drive (IF you have a 4x4 car!!) but it’s worth it for the draw dropping views and peace and quiet.
