Central to small village. Walking nearby including trail to Valbona. Breakfast was exceptional.

Not too far from the village, but far enough away to feel the peace of the beautiful scenery without the hustle and bustle of the various tour groups arriving and departing. It’s also a bit closer to the starting point for the hike to Valbona if you’re heading that way, and you’re able to navigate the little trails in and around the hotel. The staff were very nice and went out of their way to welcome and make our 3 year old son feel a part of their family. The meals were exceptional and though some dishes were repeated, we chose to eat at the hotel each night we were there because of the quality and volume of food provided for the price.

A continental breakfast is available at Fryma e Bjeshkeve. This was the perfect place to stay in Theth. The room was comfortable and cosy, everything was brand new. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom, very comfortable bed. The owner was very lovely, she prepared us a huge breakfast every morning which was perfect fuel for the hikes we did. I cannot recommend it enough.

Complete with a private bathroom fitted with a shower and slippers, all units at the guest house have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and selected rooms also boast a balcony. The units are equipped with heating facilities. Really friendly hosts who were always happy to help with everything you could ask for. Amazing mountain view and a really nice breakfast to enjoy on the balcony. Plus a super cute dog who demands taxes/pets every time you enter the facilities. Remember to bring cash (Euro or Lek) for the payment as it might be a bit tricky finding a bank that does not take a high commission in Shkodër.

Delicious breakfast in the garden. Hosts used to own a restaurant on Lake shkoder, s o they know everything about local sites and tastes.

The hosts are amazing and Nebije is very anxious to make your stay lovely. She runs her own business with looms to make rugs and other products as well as running the B&B. It was amazing to see her work in her home with her employees and watch the three of them make the rugs. We videoed them and what a treasure to see the process. She’s very proud of the tradition and art form and with good reason!!! The rooms are nice and very clean. Beautiful view of the lake. The only challenge is the drive and the steepness with a lot of stairs. Don’t book if you can’t climb stairs. Breakfast was all homemade and fresh and brought right on time.

The location couldn’t be better – right in the center of Shirokë with the market, cafes, and lots of great restaurants just around the corner. The hosts were amazing, super kind and always smiling, which made us feel really welcome from the start. The place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and it’s just perfect if you want to enjoy Shirokë without any hassle. Wish we had more time there – we’d definitely come back!
