The rooms are simple, spacious, sparking clean and have everything you need. The yard is stunning with a mountains view and many corners to sit, play, enjoy. There is also a lovely pool in the yard which we enjoyed very much. The breakfast is rich and delicious. Close to the charming city Gmunden and many other beautiful places to visit. We really enjoyed and regretted only coming here for one night.

Location was perfect - easy access to Hallstatt (via ferry or bus), quiet surroundings with mountain views, 5 min walk to train station. They serve good breakfast and the room was very clean and spacious. They also allow to leave luggage even after checkout.

The hotel is beautifully located only a few hundred meters from the Hinterstoder Hössbahn ski lift, in a quieter part of the town. The communication with the hosts was impeccable. Directions and pre-checking info were duly provided and helped for a smooth check-in process. Frau Maria and her family are putting all their energies and effort in making your stay in their little paradise as comfortable as your own home. The rooms are spotless clean, traditionally furnished and have all one needs. Towels, linens, covers are all provided. There is enough room to park outside the building. If you go there during winter (like our family likes to do) there are rooms in the basement for the skis, as well as one equipped with a warming rack for the boots. The sauna area available for the guest is yet another added value, especially after a long day on the slopes. Last but not least, it is worth mentioning the homie breakfast that was prepared daily for the guests. We have found a new favorite spot in Hinterstoder, and will make sure to return again.
