Situated in a convenient area easily reached by bus no1 from the Salzburg Hauptbahnhof and the city center. Very good communication with a polite landlord. We would definitely opt for the specific apartment if we ever visited Salzburg again in the future. Some extra tip for enjoying delicious breakfast: the Quartier café just across the apartment is an excellent choice to start your day.

Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the balcony, which also has outdoor furniture. Additional in-room amenities include wine or champagne. The apartment was located in a quiet residential area but very close to the bus stops (within a 2-4 min walk). We conveniently used the buses (Line 1, 10, 21, 22) to get around the city.  The apartment itself was so lovely. It was modern, incredibly clean and tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was especially large and bright with lovely touches. The kitchen was also spacious and nicely equipped. Plus, it had a lovely balcony with comfy chairs. Our host Susanne was very communicative and helpful. She sent a detailed instruction with photos for self check-in and was very responsive to any questions. We had a truly wonderful stay, thank you!!

The receptionist will polite and very helpful to our questions.

The room was very clean, and all facilities functioned well. The guesthouse is conveniently located in a quiet green area. It is just a 10-15 minute walk to the Mozart square.

The host, (thank you directly if you are reading this :) was just perfect. Very helpful with what to do, and kept talking in German which allowed me to practice, as I am learning the language. In many other places in Austria and Germany, people just tend to switch to English when they hear me :D On top of that, the area in the mountains is just gorgeous and the premises were nicely taken care of and clean.

Festival Hall Salzburg is 7.6 km from the guest house and Mirabell Palace is 7.7 km away. The room was big and comfortable, a lot of sunlight. It is located in a beautiful calm area. Some snacks, coffee and tea were always available. The staff was very welcoming. A bus stop is right in front of the hotel, it takes you straight to the city in a short time.

Hohensalzburg Fortress is 2.7 km from Pension Ballwein, while Getreidegasse is 2.8 km away. The nearest airport is W. A. Mozart Airport, 3 km from the property. The proprietors are wonderful - very friendly, charming and helpful. Rooms are clean and well maintained. There is an elevator, which is not always the case for small hotels and B&Bs. Right next to.a bus stop for convenient travel. We didn't have a chance to use the sauna - next time!

It features an outdoor pool, free WiFi access, and en suite rooms with satellite TV. Scenic and peaceful. Train tickets to Salzburg were appreciated.
