Beautiful property with a gorgeous spacious room. The staff was very friendly (even with a little language barrier); they were super helpful and kind.

Located next to the car-free centre of Appenzell, Adler Hotel is set in a beautiful traditional Appenzell-style building. It offers free Wi-Fi and wired internet access, a breakfast buffet, and a charging station for electric car. The hotel owner speaks several different languages and was very helpful. All the staff members were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Our room was clean, spatious, and had a nice view. The hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance from train station and important sights. We hope to come back again some day.
