We did the night walk/boat with Gloria and Sergio which was amazing, definitely worth doing. If you need a taxi boat or want to do a tour of the canals, go through Owen, their friend. The traditional breakfast was delicious.

José is a great host and very helpful. The place is almost by the beach and very quiet but five minutes from the main street. I loved the garden. The shower is very good with a good pressure. I booked a room with A/C, which was very strong. Thanks José for the magnet: it is already in place here at home.

Our favourite stay in all of Costa Rica! Quiet clean rooms with comfortable beds, individual A/C in our room, private bathroom and good shower. Safe and private. Well-equipped kitchen and a delightful covered patio to relax. We spotted a variety of birds, iguana, and a far off monkey from there. Easy walk to stores, restaurants, the boat dock, and the Tortuguero National Park. Oscar has his on boat with a quiet trolling motor, and he gave us an early morning boat tour of the National Park canals. He’s wonderful guide at spotting wildlife- many birds, spider monkeys, caiman, lizards.

The staff was above expectation. If I go back to Tortuguero, I will stay here, primarily because the gentleman at the front desk went out of his way to answer questions and help me with any issues I had. First rate. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning was efficient. WiFi was strong enough to stream movies and upload small batches of photos. Plenty of space in the shared kitchen area for me to store my groceries. Two ply toilet paper.

The room was very nice, super clean, with AC, which was so important as it was too hot outside. The house is just in front of the sea so you can hear at night the sound of the waves, it was so relaxing. Also, in the room there were coffee, tea, and some candies. We really loved our stay here. Thank you!

The staff were all amazing. The tours and all the adventures were great and value for money 💰. I would go back in a heart beat.
