We got there and were informed they were giving us an upgraded room. It was very large and beautiful. The bathroom was amazing and the shower perfect.

It felt cozy and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook a dinner or prepare any meal, which made our stay even more comfortable. One of the highlights was definitely the view from our window – overlooking other beautifully preserved houses in the same traditional style. The location is also great – it's close to a Rewe market, which is very convenient. You can take a walk along the Rhine River, or if you're up for a bit of a climb, head up through the nearby vineyards for some breathtaking views. It’s an ideal place if you’re looking to escape the noise and fast pace of the city and enjoy some peace and nature in a truly authentic setting. + They have their own private parking spots. For each room - 1 car spot.

The Pension Johanna was small and quaint right opposite the river. The room was a good size with a little balcony. It was clean, and had a fan (which was needed in the hot weather!). The host was lovely and the continental breakfast was a good start to the day. 😊

We stayed one bight in the room Hasensprung which was spacious and with a balcony viewing the Rheingau. Very comfortable bed, nice towels and beautiful furniture, we loved everything about this room! Also the breakfast buffet was incredible and we could even sit outside on the cosy terrass facing the garden.

Our breakfast was exceptional! Our room was clean and comfortable. Everyone was friendly and very accommodating. The Rheinsteig Weg and the Floetenweg are very close by for those who are interested in hiking short or long distances.
