The property is away from the noise and, with only three bungalows, it's peaceful and clearly arranged. Drinking water is automatically refilled by the host and not charged. Electricity, internet, and hot water are stable. Even though the beach is only a 5-minute walk away, the pool is a great alternative on cloudy days. There are plenty of shaded lounging and seating areas, and coffee and cold water are also available by the pool. The cleaning lady does an excellent job. The kitchen is very well equipped by Dominican hotel standards—we didn’t miss a thing during our two-week stay. After this experience, Casa Barbara will be the only place we stay.

This guest house offers air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. Love everything on this property. Beautiful view, delicious breakfast and best host ever ! Just be aware that is in the mountain so is imperative having a good car to go up there. But it worth it. Did I mention that Tony is adorable?
