I like that the hotel was in a quiet side alley so it's more private and quiet. It's a 4min walk the public ferry boat that crosses the Nile over to the East Bank. Where the East Bank is very noisy and busy with lots of hustlers, the West Bank is more peaceful and laid back. The hotel just opened last November and everything was brand new. The design - both interior and exterior was very nice, had a Moroccan theme. Laurice the owner and general manager was lovely. She was able to answer all my questions about the area, very helpful and friendly. The Egyptian breakfast was also great, it was a giant tray with a plate of ful, fried scrabled egg, a basket of aish baladi, eish fino and a flaky paratha, strawberry jam, laughing cow cheese, honey, yogurt, olives, white dip, bowl of mixed fruit, orange juice and coffee/tea - it's basically brunch lol. I stayed in the Nagham room which was on the rooftop. Although it was a bit of a hike to drag my luggage all the way up (no elevator lol), it was well worth it because I had the whole rooftop area to myself! The room's private balcony has views of the nile whereas the balconies of the other rooms just face inward into the courtyard of the building. There was also a public balcony up there as well. It's a beautiful property overall, I highly recommend!

Just a minute’s walk from the property is the Nile, where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and watch hot air balloons floating in the morning sky. The room I stayed in offered a partial Nile view. It’s an affordable, comfortable place, and I highly recommend it.

Ali and Karima were excellent hosts. They created a personalised itinerary for us to see all the big hits in Luxor. Ali went out of his way to plan our travel to Aswan as well organising airport transportation. The prices were also very fair. The food for breakfast and dinner were amazing and all the produce was organically sourced. We will definitely miss our breakfasts with a view and our hosts the most! Thank you again for your warm hospitality and we recommend this place to anyone travelling in Luxor.

Amz, the owner, and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, helping me with anything I needed at any time of day. The room, the bathroom, the kitchen, and the entire area were all clean and well furnished, with everything you could possibly need. There was always hot water. Not to mention a fantastic rooftop terrace.Sincerely, I have never experienced such a rich and delicious breakfast and dinner in accomodation of this kind, which is alone, worth the cost of the stay. I also would like to mention the washing service they provided and the transport to the bus stop the last day by Amz. Overall, I'm very happy, and this will definitely be my stay the next time I visit Luxor.

One of the best accommodation experiences we’ve ever had. The room was exactly what we needed—simple and clean. The breakfast offered a variety of local products and was absolutely delicious. The location was excellent, very close to everything on the east side and easily accessible on foot. What truly made the difference were the owners. They were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they spoke excellent English, which made communication very easy. They provided us with lots of helpful information on how to avoid scams, and we felt comfortable asking them anything that came to mind. They also made us feel completely at home, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere throughout our stay. Even when we had an issue with our transfer to Aswan, they gave us clear and practical instructions on what to do and what to avoid. Overall, it was a truly excellent experience, best value for money accommodation and of course with the kindest people.

My 3rd stay at Caso Loko so I guess that says it all. Mohamed, Ibrahim, Mahmoud and the rest of the team always take great care of everyone. The apparent is spacious and very clean which is always hard to keep up with in a land full of sand ;-) The location is perfect. Quiet but still close to the small town. They can organise excursions for you or transport if you wish. Already looking forward to my next visit to my second home!

The room offered a lot of space and the bed was big and very comfortable. The pool is refreshing, exactly what you need. The location us close to the Nile and restaurants. The host Ibrahim is exceptionally kind and always ready to help. He picked us up from the airport and made sure we find the location where our cruise ship departs. Great service from start to finish.

I loved my stay here. It is perfectly located by the bank of the Nile with a perfect view on the city and the Luxor temple. Room was nice and spacious. Special thanks to Sadan who’s a great cook and who always made me breakfast way earlier than the breakfast time. And all food was great. Ali is also great and always ready to help.
