Superb location near beautiful park of pines, and very close to El Sardinero beach. Hotel staff was careful and kind. Very cozy place. Very clean. Decorations with a lot of good taste. Very good breakfast. There were plenty og tables and umbrellas in the garden so you can stay and relax anytime of the day or stay late night for a glass of wine. Very good and attentive stuff. Hats off! Would return anytime.

Everything about this place is good. It is the second time I have stayed here as it is bang on the Camino del Norte de Santiago. The service is great, the staff fantastic and the food ... wow! We liked very much the garden, breakfast and the very welcoming Emma and family. We could visit Altamira cave, Santander and many beautiful beaches nearby. It was a very pleasant stay, we would repeat if we come back to Cantabria.

Loved staying here. Beautiful restored Posada. Very helpful and friendly owner. Tip.. We were travelling by bike and got caught out with no open restaurants for dinner nearby. So best to check ahead or eat on your way.

We just completed a 17 trip across Portugal, Spain and southern France. Posada Cicero was our absolute favorite place to stay. The location was just off the highway. The host was very congenial, informative and language was not a problem at all. Breakfast was served in a lovely garden (mid-September). The fruit was fresh, the pastries were still warm from the oven and very delicious. He offered a variety of juices and other drinks. Service was prompt and attentive to all our needs. The rooms were homey and comfortable. Parking was free and plentiful.
