All the reviews you read reflect our experience too - amazing. Huge room, clean, quiet and comfortable. But really the ‘secret sauce’ is the owner. He just goes out of his way. Our own story - not the only story whilst we were there- my wife left a pair of pants in the dorm in Fromista. Only way to retrieve was to taxi over to collect then taxi back. So I went to ask for the local taxi’s phone number. No, he wasn’t having that. He had a family dinner over that way and picked up the pants on the way back. Random acts of kindness on the Camino take on a massive significance. Look no further - stay here

All of the rooms at the Hostal Corte feature heating, a TV and a bathroom with amenities. Several have direct access to the guest house’s attractive patio. Probably the cleanest hotel in the world. This hostel is absolutely immaculate, the rooms are spotlessly clean with gleaming bathrooms, the house keeping team should be commended. Our room overlooked the church and gave us a bird eye view of the Maundy Thursday parade. Check in was very friendly and the location is excellent, right on the Camino path
