Large, airy rooms with a comfy bed, excellent breakfast choice and delicious dinners - so good that we are there all four nights. Welcoming and helpful staff who proved invaluable during our stay when we needed local knowledge.

The whole package was exceptional, the building is perfectly situated being close to the centre, the beach and car parks. The Accommodation is very well maintained, being light, clean and spacious. We stayed in Room 4, overlooking the front of the building and was easily accessed. the King-sized room was spacious, bright and included an additional room having seating that converts to 2 additional single beds if needed . (We used it as the TV sitting room, although there is a TV in the main bedroom area too). The shower / toilet room is large and roomy, with good quality body wash and shampoo , it has a modern, décor. with a rain over shower, and a traditional side shower head . The towels provided are some of the best I have ever used, and just simply adds to what is already a perfect situation. The bed was a real king-size, and a great mattress (firm but comfy, and we slept like a log ) good firm pillows. Breakfast,, many places claim to have "the best breakfast" in Tenby, and if you want that, you really need to stay in The Townhouse, Huw, (the owner and "head chef" ), has a good selection of choices and has a "special" of the day , that changes, from pancakes, to smoked salmon amongst others, But for me, the "cooked welsh breakfast" was perfect, from quality, to quantity being served along with (for me ) lots of great filter coffee, and lovely toast of brown or white. We stayed for 5 nights, being in Tenby for IM WALES , Huw, again went the extra mile, having an area where the expensive race bikes could be stored for safe keeping.

The guesthouse was inland but within easy reach of main beaches in south west Wales and the main towns like Tenby and Pembroke. You had to pre order your cooked breakfast element and time the night before (simple tick box on a very full list and 4 times from 8am ar quarter of an hour intervals). In the morning you would be greeted and start with continental items and order choice of hot drinks. Pre order worked well here and no long break for cooked breakfast which was excellent and in particular the bacon. Also when staying multiple nights you had a key to a guest entrance so could come and go as you liked ie no curfew. I the hall there was also a service bell you could ring if you needed something and à guest fridge you could share to store drink etc which was a good idea.
