The guest house features family rooms. Evgenia had the most delightful surrounds. It was superbly furnished and had the most delightful patio outside our ground floor room. As you entered the room you felt immediately at home after the great welcome from our host. This is the best island that we visited in Greece, it is quiet and has good beaches. The hotel is 150-metres from both the bus and the centre of the beautiful old citadel. We loved Folegandros, and also this place where we stayed!

Situated in Karavostasi, 60 metres from Vardia Beach, Maistrali features rooms with sea views and free WiFi. It is located 200 metres from Chochlidia Beach and features luggage storage space. Featuring a private entrance, the guest house allows guests to maintain their privacy. Good location with a great view of the port from the balcony. All the amenities are close, easy to walk from the ferry and close to the bus station. The host picked us up from the port and stored the luggage until the room was ready. In the room there was a bottle of water waiting in the fridge as well as a (much appreciated) small bottle of (I guess local) brandy. :-) There are two nice beaches in the vicinity. Nightlife is not the major "selling point" in the port but there are regular buses to the Chora where the "action" takes place (2 EUR one way). Overall, it was exactly as described and I highly recommend it (location, value for money and a gorgeous view from the balcony). I'd definitely stay again there.
