First of all it’s so close so you don’t have to climb the never ending stairs to get to it. You literally just get from the ferry, walk 40 seconds and enter the hotel. The room was very clean and comfy, I liked everything about it, the shower, the bed, pillows. Everything. The staff was amazing. The breakfast was in the restaurant downstairs and it was delicious.

Originally a wealthy sea captain’s mansion built in 1810, the Hotel Miranda is a fine example of characteristic local architecture. It is located 250 metres from the port and 500 metres from Ydra’s main beach. The location was great, in the middle of everything but quiet at the same time. The staff was so helpful and their recommendations were perfect.

The main attractions of Hydra are within easy walking distance of this refined guest house. If you like quality this is the place you are looking for! The location is very good, it’s near the port but a bit inside so it creates a sense of serenity surrounded by beautiful architecture and nature . We had a spacious room which gives breathtaking view over part of the island. Nikos and Mrs Jenny were very nice, helpful and professional! We were impressed of their high level of professional behaviour and care they showed not only to us but to all of their guests. The breakfast was amazing and everyday we had something different to taste and always explained in detailed by Mrs Jenny. Lastly, the hotel’s design is amazing.
