Very friendly and attentive staff, and an excellent location (right by the ferry port and bus stops). This is a slightly quieter part of town, but you're still very close to the action if you want to be. The room was modern and beautifully furnished, and also very clean. We received a hamper with local food upon arrival which was lovely. The property also provided us with an excellent list of local restaurants, many of which we tried and which were all amazing. The bathroom was huge and felt very luxurious, and included lots of special details. The airconditioning worked very well, and I saw that the apartment also had central heating so it would probably be very cosy here in winter as well! As we are young we didn't mind the staircase down to the bathroom and toilet (this was a feature specific to our room, the 1864) - however, this might be something to be aware of if you're older and have a lot of difficulty with steps. For us the staircase added to the charm of the apartment, as it meant that the bathroom was on an entirely different floor. It almost felt like we were staying in a house! I also noticed that reviews for the other rooms were impressed by the soundproofing - our room was a bit noisier because it was right in front of a parking spot for motorbikes, so there was occasional noise when someone would leave or arrive. We didn't find this annoying, but if you're a very light sleeper you may prefer to book one of the other rooms at the property. I would definitely stay here again!

He is also very responsive and excited to give us many great local recommendations in Syros (and even Athens)! We also loved the home-cooked breakfast! Couldn’t recommend more in this comfortable stay. We hope to be back someday!

His recommendations were spot-on, leading us to unforgettable experiences. He pointed us to local treasures like the Apollo Theater and Saint Nicholas Church, both architectural marvels. But the real highlight was his restaurant suggestions—every place he recommended served mouthwatering dishes that showcased Syros’ culinary brilliance. Each meal was a celebration of authentic Greek cuisine, perfectly complementing the island’s vibrant food scene.

On the traditional, ground-floor courtyard shaded by vine pergolas guests can have their drink and enjoy the views over Mykonos and Delos Island. A shared lounge with a TV and a computer for free use are offered. Everything. Beautiful quiet spot in the middle of everywhere. The view is amazing with nice balcony. The rooms are very comfortable. The owner George is the Greek neighbor you need! He gives you information on the island, suggests you how to explore it, where to eat and can recommended and amazing boat trip.

Neorion Shipyards is 800 metres from the guest house, while Miaouli Square is 300 metres from the property. Syros Island National Airport is 3 km away. The location is superb, close to all services but in a quiet area; the hotel itself is in a renovated neo-classical building with lovely high ceilings and beautifully tiled floors. The rooms are spacious and luminous, the beds equipped with mattresses that are very comfortable, with good support but a soft feel. I really liked the furnishings, which were simple in traditional Greek style. There is a nice wardrobe, a desk, and a bedside table providing drawer space. The bathrooms are new and roomy, with a generously-sized shower stall and good water pressure coming from the shower nozzle. I didn't hear any noise from the room next door.
