Our plans did not foresee a stop in the capital, but as our flight, like a large number of international flights, arrived at a very late hour (and spending the night at the airport was not an option, as it closes for a few hours at dawn), we had to look for a hotel close to the airport, which would allow us to board a shuttle (in our case to Panajachel) the next day. Clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff, 24-hour reception, free transport to and from the airport, located within a guarded condominium, and complete breakfast with flexible hours (our shuttle arrived at the hotel at 6:30, and the breakfast lunch could be served before), made Euro Hostal the ideal place for this stopover in Guatemala City. All this at a competitive price. Recommended.

Conveniently located close to the airport, the free shuttles during regular hours were a bonus. We only paid a small fee (Q30) for a transfer at an early hour (3:30 am), but it was a small price for peace of mind. The owner's friendliness and accommodation added a personal touch, and it was a breeze catching an Uber to the city center. Highly recommend!

I liked that since the moment I entered the people that greeted me in reception were very Respectful, educated and friendly. I also liked that the complementary breakfast was very delicious and it was a good size as well. Plus the free airport transport was the cherry on top of the cake for the amazing experience I had there.
