Guests can have a drink at the bar. The location was great, right on the waterfront, and I felt really welcomed as soon as I arrived off the ferry, where I was picked up and brought to the property. It was easy to sort out a scooter, trips and there's an honesty bar for beers, water and soft drinks. Also free tea and coffee. Breakfast was basic but really tasty and healthy! Fruit, eggs, juice. It was all really nice, and it's on a quieter street, just off the main road.

At the guest house, units come with a desk. With a private bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower and free toiletries, units at the guest house also feature free WiFi. At the guest house, all units are allergy-free. I really loved the location — it feels like the countryside, close to the rice fields. I wish I could’ve stayed longer; it’s such a peaceful place with crickets singing at night and a very cozy atmosphere. The property is extremely clean, and the room was very spacious, beautifully decorated with wooden furniture, and had a small terrace. The cottages are surrounded by greenery, and there’s also a restaurant on-site. The staff were absolutely lovely, and it was easy to order a Grab from here. You can even see the temple from a distance — such a charming place!

The family-friendly restaurant at the guest house specialises in American cuisine, and is open for dinner and lunch. The perfect place to relax in Karimunjawa. Lovely, quiet and comfortable bungalows in a beautiful garden setting with a pool. The hosts are so nice and helpful with anything you might need.

This recently renovated guest house is located less than 1 km from Kanjen Beach and 2.8 km from Pancuran Beach. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Everything!! The place is a little gem and floating paradise describes it perfectly. Beautiful snorkelling spots, free kayaking, lots of different beaches to visit, amazing breakfasts, the view is breathtaking, being in among nature and the accommodation was so comfortable.

The place was fantastic - beautiful views over the rice fields and volcano, lovely little oasis with the swimming pool. Very lucky as had the place to ourselves and able to eat breakfast by the pool, which was a very delicious. Bobby the host was great and helped us organise private drivers he regularly uses to take us to the temples which was really helpful. The driver spoke fantastic English and was able to help a lot!

The area is popular for cycling, and car hire is available at the guest house. This is an amazing place if you want to immerse yourself into local culture. The host family was extremely helpful and provided me with lots of local experiences and ideas. If possible ask the host to help you with a ride to the airport or your next destination. I did and he was more of a local tour than transport. Can’t recommend this family enough.

The bedroom is small but there are 2 communal rooms for relaxing & also a balcony.There is complimentary water, tea & coffee. The bathroom is small with no sink, but the shower is warm when you have the knack!! It is close to many sights in Dieng & convenient for food & hiking - we spent our time exploring on foot. Fantastic value for money & a great experience in Dieng.

This guest house offers free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. Tugu Monument is 42 km away and Malioboro Mall is 42 km from the guest house. The hostel ia very close to the temple entrance, the reception guy is very nice and can provide info, facilities are great too (wifi, lockers, curtains for the beds, cleanliness, air con). Also, free cold water and coffee in the morning. It's a pity very little people come to spend a night in Borobudur. It's a very cute town and you can have nice walks in the rice fields just behind the temple or going towards the Chicken Church.

The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk and parking on-site. Guesthouse 44 was my second home for a week in Purwokerto. The room was not spacious, but it had all necessary appliances and good air conditioning. A double room was just enough for my luggage, so I suggest if you travel with a partner, get a bigger room, the price is really affordable. The bathroom might surprise you, because it has no sink, just a shower, and no mirror, which is somewhat inconvenient. The room was sparkling clean, the bed sheets and the towels smelled amazing, it was regularly cleaned and supplied with bottled water every day. As a foreigner, you might get some special treatment, as the managers are really caring and put in a lot of effort to be of best service. The breakfast is abundant, if you don't like the local style, they'll prepare you some pancakes, omelette and steamed vegetables, so as to make sure you don't go out hungry. It is a good idea to bring some small present for the lady and her husband who run the hotel (they are about 60) - it will make their day. At their place you will surely feel as a part of a big family. Please bear in mind, that although the hotel is near the city center, you cannot walk in Purwokerto, since the streets are bustling with cars and motorcycles and there are no sidewalks for pedestrians. Walking is really dangerous, so better take a taxi. And speaking of taxies, I can recommend this nice young taxi driver in Jakarta, working for the Bluebird company, who speaks perfect English and is a very honest and helpful person: +62 852-1258-2235 (Willy). You may contact him on WhatsApp in advance, and he'll pick you up at the airport, without an extra fee. I had to bargain with many taxi drivers when I arrived in Jakarta in order to get an almost fair price, while this one trusts his meter, so no need to worry. Good luck with your adventure!
