The location next to the lake, the spacious and extremely clean room, the shower with more than sufficient hot water, the clean sheets and comfortable mattress which is firm enough without being too soft for those of us with lower back issues, and Mr. Dimmer who made us feel extremely welcome. He even provided a room for our driver since we arrived much later than expected due to the long line of vehicles waiting to get on the ferry from Parapat to Samosir. We really appreciated everything he did for us.

Guests can make use of the children's playground or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and river. Beautiful place to stay and a really good jungle trek with nice guides. Jhony, Havidz and Adam were the best!

I really enjoyed my stay here. It is a comfy and very convenient guesthouse. The staff is really kind and helpfull. They also organize great trekking tours to the jungle. And the location of the guest house is great. Right next to the river. From the terasse you can look down on the river and enjoy the village life.

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The rooms are fitted with a balcony with garden views and free WiFi. Gotong Rotong bus station and convenience store are located about 10 to 15 mins away by foot. The quiet villa with nice ambience is tucked away from town. Padi fields just a few minutes walk from the villa. Tyson, Dedek and team are super friendly. Their dog Balu is a charm. They are able to organize trips to the jungle, Tangkahan, transport and etc. It's like a one-stop villa for everything. The room is of good size and bed is very comfortable. Restaurant in the villa serves good food. (One can always replenish drinking water in the restaurant.) There is no need to walk out for meals. In any case, not much choices available near the villa unless one goes to Bukit Lawang. Bukit Lawang town is 20 minutes walk from the villa walking pass local residences. If not, one can take a motorbike to the town. The jungle trek organized by Tyson comes with a friendly and knowledagble guide and assistant. Saw 2 orangutans during the trek and also a few monkeys. Trek is tough and it's goes uphill and downhill. One ought to be fairly fit. Highly recommend Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa.

Located in Bukit Lawang, Gino's Place - Guest House & Jungle Trekking features a garden, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. The whole place is a 10/10 and the food on the premises is delicious😋😋😋 We would like to give a big thank-you to Putri for the great communication from the date we booked and throughout our stay and to Nani for always greeting us daily at the reception/restaurant area with her genuine smile. “Big SHOUT OUT to Jack and Rico for being excellent guides during our two day jungle trekking…..and of course a big thank you to Junet our amazing taxi driver who picked us up at the airport and at the end of our stay drove us to lake Toba in the most professional way possible🙏🙏😊😘🦧

All units at the guest house are equipped with a seating area. The guest house provides certain units that include sea views, and every unit has a private bathroom and a desk. The units will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle. We had a great time at SeaGate! The Bungalows are really comfortable, there is free water and tea and the sea view is amazing. Also the food at the restaurant is super tasty and all the staff are very nice. Borja gave us a lot of tips what to do on the island, which was really helpful.

At the hotel, every room is fitted with a balcony. At Sahnan Guest House the rooms come with a private bathroom. Good location, clean room, delicious breakfast, nice staff, very grateful for them to send me to the bus station! I spent three happy nights in there

At the guest house, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner and lunch and serves Indonesian cuisine. Host was so nice and helpful, clean and large room with aircon, great food at their restaurant (1 mins walking). great value for money!

Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the mountain and river. Very beautiful guesthouse in stunning surroundings. The staff (Arif and Risky) was amazing and so helpful. They were always available and present and had interest in us as guest.
