It's not far from the beach (15 minutes walking) and pretty close to the market and restaurants. It's a nice and quiet place, where you can have a rest after noisy big cities. Edward is very kind and he always helped whether we needed some cutlery or some advise. He also helped to book a taxi for the airport. The room is pretty spacious and clean. One time the neighbours were a little noisy, but Edward helped to solve this question. In general it's a quiet place and you can close the windows and have a really good sleep.

Stay was comfortable and close to the beach. Nice and Clean rooms. Jack (Owner) is very cooperative. Mujahid at reception was very helpful.

What a magnificent old and well maintained house in a quite spot in Goa, with a short walk to the beach. What stood out though where the people working there, who were beyond friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious and easily the best one around. The host is very nice an caring! We stayed at the royal Phoenix Inn, which is directly in the area of Fountainhas (very beautiful). We could get filtered water any time.

For the Old Goa you can take local bus, from bus station, which is like 800 m distance. The owner will give you a map, and even a plan, how to visit Panaji (Panjim). Sharon and Roy will take care of you, like a mama and papa :) Very warm-hearted and helpful people, I had sore throat, they gave me medicine, and made ginger tea :) Spacious and clean rooms in a beautiful old house.
