Το Birkilauf βρίσκεται στο Myvatn, σε απόσταση 2,6χλμ. από τα ιαματικά λουτρά Myvatn και προσφέρει πολλές ανέσεις, όπως θέα στη λίμνη και το βουνό. The house was excellent. It is located in a private area in a lava field and is surrounded by low trees. It has a large common living room with an open kitchen. The living room had large glass openings and we could see the trees. It also has a very large balcony with a table and chairs to enjoy nature. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed to make a full breakfast (eggs, oil, butter, jams, milk, etc.) The room was clean and comfortable. The host was cheerful and gave us information about the area. Lake Myvatn, the baths and the other attractions are very beautiful and worth the stay. Unfortunately when we went the Grjotagia cave was closed, but we were compensated by the other attractions.

Quietly located 5 km from Iceland's Ring Road and 13 km from Lake Mývatn, this family-run guest house offers views over Sandfell Mountain. Very cozy and beautiful location. Perfect place to wind down and enjoy nature. Comfortable facilities. Breakfast was great, we loved the waffle machine.
