Borgo Paradiso Guest House ligt in Maccagno Inferiore, op 28 km van treinstation Lugano en 30 km van Expositiecentrum Lugano, en biedt accommodatie met een terras, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie... Borgo Paradiso is located on a rather steep hill and allows a spectacular view over the roofs of Maccagno to Lago Maggiore. Our guest house was more than 100 years old, but nicely renovated. Our 2 rooms were on each side of a fully equipped kitchen with access to a balcony. The rooms had a good size, a wooden ceiling, and very comfortable beds. The bathroom had a good size and even a window! Our host Charlene spoke excellent English and was extremely nice and helpful. She offered us a gift of blueberry jam and honey and a coupon for free ice cream in the village. She also sent us advice for restaurants and which sights to see at Maccagno. Also the farmer who brought the breakfast (with fresh bread, cake, cheese and prosciutto) was very nice and made us feel welcome.

Massimo, Arianna and family arw amazing. They coordinated and accomodated our need for an early checkin. Communication is exceptional. This is a lovely well situated apartment in the heart of Cannobio. We did self checkin from a received video, which helped guide us through the necessary steps upon arrival. They greeted us before we departed from our short stay and their sincere warmth made us wish we could stay a bit longer and share a bit of time with them. The apartment is impeccably clean, thoughtfully/masterfully laid out and supplied with all you require in a beautiful compact space with solid fixtures and just super well appointed. We used the refrigerator to store some cheese we were transporting. There were two sparkling waters in the refrigerator provided gratis, which hit the spot upon arrival. There was coffee capsules for espresso, as well as a variety of teas. The place is compact, yet feels spacious. I could imagine staying here on business or on leisure. The hosts recommended some places to eat and we felt if we had the need that they were always there for us. Understated, yet classic Italian warmth and hospitality. Modern ammenities in a historic Cannobio building with a shared and gated/enclosed courtyard area for those that want to take in the nearby outdoors in nice weather. Highly recommended for so very many reasons! Book with confidence and stay in beautiful Cannobio longer than we did. Among the very best in its class! Enjoy!!!

Affittacamere La Quiete is gelegen op 25 km van Borromeïsche Eilanden en 38 km van Busto Arsizio Nord, en biedt kamers met airconditioning en een eigen badkamer in Arona. De accomodatie was heel erg ruim, recent vernieuwd en heel erg proper. De gastvrouw en -heer waren ook heel erg lief en behulpzaam. Ze zijn me zelfs komen afhalen van het station. Op het terras kan je ook lekker buitenzitten. De koffie- en theevoorzieningen met kleine versnapering maakten het verblijf compleet.

Cavaedium Guest House in Arona biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de stad, een privéstrand, een gedeelde lounge en watersportfaciliteiten. Er is gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. In a perfect location in Arona this is a fully renovated guest house, exceptional facilities, everything is carefully thought out. The hostess Debora is a very kind and helpful. The breakfast was great and Debora adapted it our requests. Debora also suggested some great restaurants to dine in.

The hosts are friendly, they chat easily if you want, and can give advice on activities or destinations.

Al San Michele bevindt zich in Stresa en biedt gratis WiFi. De accommodatie is rookvrij en is gelegen op 1,8 km van Borromeïsche Eilanden. Room was excellent - all clean, modern bathroom, beds comfy. The host was super kind and friendly. Arrival is easy and straight forward and can be done mostly remote - good for flexibility.

Guesthouse Giulietta e Romeo biedt uitzicht op de bergen, een terras en gratis WiFi. De accommodatie ligt in Cossogno, op 17 km van Borromeïsche Eilanden en 44 km van Piazza Grande Locarno. The hosts are amazing, very welcoming and helpful! The house is beautiful and we really loved the village of Cossogno. Recommended for sure. The room was tidy and nice with an own balcony, and we slept like babies in the bed. Cossogno is really cute with old stone houses. There's a nice path through the village on tiny alleys to see the Roman bridge and stream. You can walk other way via crucis above the village. There's a nice local restaurant 100m away and the hosts can make a reservation for you. Tip: you don't have to order antipasto, primo and secondo, we were really stuffed after 2,5 dishes and couldn't finish everything.

Casa Rampolina ligt in Stresa, op 4 km van Borromeïsche Eilanden, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin en gratis privéparkeren. We loved our stay at Casa Rampolina. Federica and Denise made us feel welcome from the first minute onwards and made sure we had everything we needed. We have not experienced such hospitality in a long time. The place is so beautiful. The room was modern, yet cozy and had the most stunning views! Loved the eye for detail in every corner of the place. Breakfast was amazing - delicious food with the beautiful view from our room. Same goes for the restaurant, La Rampolina - if you get the chance you should try it! It was a perfect experience and we are planning on staying there again!
