Takatsukiyama Observatory Deck is 1.2 km from the guest house. Naha Airport is 55 km from the property. This was our most favorite stay of our whole Japan trip. The main reason for this was that it's a homestay. Our host Takago was sooo great, super super friendly, funny, cool & an amazing cook. Plus we got to meet many other nice travellers there and it was always a nice place to be. The food she cooked for us was amazing and super authentic. The island is small and you can walk almost everywhere. The island itself looks like it's a bit deserted. The houses aren't pretty and there isn't much, so don't be repelled by this. We were a bit suspicious at the start but in the end it was our very favorite thing!
