In addition, the location of the guesthouse in ideal as you can walk to many places such as the famous tree, the library and the onsen itself. Also, the room is spacious and the bed is comfy. Housed in a building dating from 2023, this guest house is 47 km from the Lake Ezu. The guest house has family rooms. The guesthouse is absolutely beautiful. It’s in a more remote location, so it’s very peaceful. The couple running たね are so very kind, and their cooking is exceptional. Breakfast was so delicious. We wish we spoke better Japanese so we could have talked more. They were such interesting people.

And again owners where super nice 🙃 and had good tips for things to do in the area. (Also located at a walking distance to supermarket, restaurants, hells of beppu and onsen 🛀). Place was also good value for money
