And all thanks to the owner. Yoko is one of the kindest and friendliest people I have ever met. I want to say a huge thank you for the time spent in this place. The house itself creates a special atmosphere of classic Japanese housing. I really enjoyed being there. Nara is amazing, not just a park and deers. It is very cozy and comfortable town where you just want to walk around and enjoy your time. I will definitely come back here again.

The host was amazing, so helpful and nice, giving his advice on the places to go out for dinner, public baths, etc. He helped us to send our luggage to our next step location, and we are so grateful he did. This recently renovated guest house is located 11 km from Iwafune Shrine and 13 km from Nara Station. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests. We stayed for two nights at Natomi - what a wonderful relaxing stay after 10 days of travelling in the big cities ! We stayed in the Tatami room and it was so spacious and the futon were very comfortable. The walls are are traditional walls / doors so sound does travel however it didn’t bother us in the slightest. The shared bathrooms were well appointed and very clean! The space was so relaxing and peaceful - the staff were so very helpful and accomodating ! They helped us to find our way to a golf course when there were no taxis available. We had breakfast each day which was great value for money and dinner one evening which was delicious! The location was great for us (close to golf course) and in a small village which was very peaceful, but it was a little out of the way. We had such a lovely stay and would consider returning if / when we are back in Japan !
