It was designed by the owner and you can see the personal care behind it. Bunks in dorms are clean, spacious and super cozy with the wooden aesthetic. The staff was so welcoming and generous, it was great to be able to meet them as a solo traveller and made it feel like I was staying with friends. Walking distance to train station and large supermarket only 10 mins away. I wish I could have stayed longer and I will come back here if I come back to Shikoku.

The owner is very friendly and helpful, and the beds and public spaces are well kept. The location is very good too, within walking distance of downtown areas and Hirome Market. The dorm beds were actual mattresses, so they were very comfortable, and the bunks came with many sockets and accessories (fan, light, clothes line, tissues). It’s a refurbished house, so it felt very cozy. It was comfortable and I enjoyed talking to other guests and the owner. It was a superb stay, one of the best guesthouses I’ve ever stayed at! Great place, very homey and has everything you need even free laundry. The owner is also very nice.

They upgraded me to a private room, which I was so grateful for. The guesthouse is a renovated ryokan with a beautiful modern design. The rooms, common areas, kitchen, and bathrooms were spacious and well-equipped. Nice and warm inside as it was built well to keep out the cold (some other places I stayed in were quite cold). Everything was clean and quiet, and the area was peaceful. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. There's a cafe a few minutes drive away, which was also really pretty. Kito Cafe Nishiumori. Will definitely be coming back next time!

The staff was very acommodating and the rooms were very comfortable! Would highly recommend the breakfast, one of the best breakfasts we had in japan!! Don't miss out on this place:)

Schedule is not regular but easy enough to navigate. Space is large and very well thought out with sleeping room, hang out lounge and nice kitchen with table and chairs. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Great place to base for walks in area. Huge bonus was Izakaya down the street. Super refined and tasty. We enjoyed our stay.

The apartment was extremely clean. And the owner is very helpful and easy to contact. While I don't expect people in another country to speak my language, we were very happy that the owner spoke excellent English. We liked it so much we are coming back again after our pilgrimage around Shikoku.
