Baan Pila, is located in a quiet street, surrounded by a nice garden including a small pool and a sitting area. With the provided bicycles you can easily reach the old part of Luang Prabang. The furniture and decoration is a very unique mix of European style with handicraft pieces from Lao. The organic scents and soaps are great and the bed was sooooo comfortable. Thanks to the staff, who made our stay perfect. Higly recommended!

I've been to Luang Prabang many times before, staying in various hotels with a much higher price tag than this. However, I really enjoyed Villa Merry, due to it's location (right next door you have a few great restaurants, such as & Koji, Comma coffee, Pizza place, Zurich Bread, etc.), immaculate cleanliness, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds and beautiful views on Puxi hill and a mountains on another side. Complementary breakfast was fine too, we would get eggs and fresh fruit with a coffee every morning. Mr Sam who is the owner of the place, is such a pleasant host. He speaks very good English and would help us out when we needed. I will definitely be back here, it's a great value for money.

The stuff-the family was extremly helpfull and friendly, everything was always clean, they even help us rent motorcycle and show us everything needed on the map. Breakfast fresh and made in front of us by owners wife. Once again, kopcai 🙂

Two wonderful hosts (French, Lao) who make you feel part of a family and can arrange all kinds of local stuff. The building has kitchen facilities, a fridge for guests and is located in town with shops, a fuel station and a big supermarket close by. The old town, night market and Mekong river are at a 10 to 15 minutes walk. Our initial plan was to stay for 3 night, we ended up staying nearly 2 weeks and plan on going back to Luang Prabang and stay for another week.
