It was our 1st day, they did not disappoint us at all! We reached there earlier. But they welcomed us nicely. Good experience!

It felt to nice to be well cared for, especially when traveling alone. Gihan can help arrange tours and activities and will take you himself in his Tuk Tuk when available. They have bikes for hire and I enjoyed riding all around Anuradhapura a couple of times. Their food is amazing! In the past they owned a restaurant and it shows. A huge variety and the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka. I am gluten intolerant and they were very accommodating to my diet. You can tell they care a lot about their business, investing in it and caring for their clients. Extend your stay, you won’t regret it. There’s much to see In Anuradhapura and you’ll not want to leave Corner Cottage.

The warm hosts were so welcoming. They helped arrange an excellent tuk tuk driver and recommended a simple restaurant with the best Indian food I have ever had times a million. They also provided us with a delicious breakfast each morning and made us feel at home.

I suggest everyone to stay here once if you are planning to stay in Kandi.... The owner is so kind that I can't explain. You can explore the entire Kandy under the guide of this owner with a minimum budget.

Το Yashi's Place Sigiriya είναι σε Σιγκιρίγια, σε απόσταση 1,4 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Sigiriya Rock και προσφέρει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης και βεράντα. Lovely hosts, they helped organise transportation for us to and from Pidurangala rock for sunrise as well as a car from their home stay to our next location, Kandy. Our safari was also suggested and arranged for us by our hosts. The little things go a long way. We arrived in a downpour and our hosts very kindly met us both by the cars with umbrellas whilst they helped us with our bags. Breakfast was delicious, too and we were enjoyed having dinner with the hosts on the first evening we arrived. When staying at Yashi’s place, you must visit the Lady Cafe at the end of the road - this was a great recommendation by the host and the best food we had throughout our whole trip in Sri Lanka. The room was large and clean. The gardens surrounding Yashi’s place were beautiful - we especially enjoyed seeing the peacocks in the trees as we ate our meals!

A very nice accommodation in Kandy. Situated close to the main street, but at the same time without being too close to the traffic, Smile Hub is great in location terms. You can walk to the city center, or take the public buses. The room was very clean, also the bathroom. There was shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom, which was very nice. You can use a shared space to prepare tea or your own meals, you may use a shared washing machine. There is also AC, which is great during the hottest hours of the day. For sure that if we come back in Kandy, this place is the first choice!
