Sunethra, the woman who keeps the house is very friendly and she takes care of everything you need! Through the homestay we had the opportunity to book the Safari at Yala, they offer an half or full day experience and in the price are included the entrance ticket, the jeep and a lunch box. You don’t have to stress about anything. We highly recommend this accommodation.

The tour guide for the safari was organized by my host and was one of the very experienced drivers. I also got recommendations for dinner, was taken for bird watching, was driven to the bus station and all the time my host made sure that I felt comfortable and everything worked out. The owner has been doing his best to offer great service ! Picked me up and sent me to wait for the bus , It’s way more than I expected! We also did the birds and bats watching the same evening when I arrived!!!! I highly recommend this place to stay in Tissa !!!!! Also , the food provided by them is tasty and not too salty !!!! Great and clean room !!!!

Kethaka Aga might have been the most beautiful hotel we have stayed in during our travels in Sri Lanka. Not only was the room very comfortable, the rest of the house and garden (including garden/pool area) offered some nice places to relax as well. The staff was really nice and catered to all our needs, from doing our laundry till preparing a breakfast package at 4:30 AM to bring to our safari. Highly recommended!
