Probably the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka (out of 9 places). We felt the most comfortable here – everything was nice, clean, and cozy, in a lovely location. You can walk to Lion's Rock. Great breakfast and incredibly kind owners who were always willing to help. Thank you for an amazing stay!

We had a fabulous 3nights at Yashi's place which is set in a beautiful garden and is very quiet and relaxing. Harsha and his family are wonderful kind hosts and can help organise anything you need for transportation around Sri Lanka and booking tours etc. Each morning a very generous Sri Lankan breakfast is served with lots of variety and home cooked evening meals are available on request. We highly recommend.

Very clean with also hair drier. Room is very new amd with high ceiling and the beds super comfortable. Amazing breakfast with fruit, fresh fruit juice, samball, eggs, jams, coconut rotti. Very nice location and style.

We liked everything - the room, the food, the location … Breakfast is really good (and very much) and the owner also cooked dinner for us once which was also delicious. Another day they took us to Sigiriya to go to a restaurant and also picked us up again afterwards. Really nice!

Simoya is amazing! The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable and so beautifully presented. Our hosts Mahdu and Sinjay looked after us so well, we didn’t want to leave! Such a beautiful family ! The breakfasts and dinner were outstanding , Mahdu is a fantastic cook and there was so much delicious food! The location was excellent and the park grounds just beautiful! Highly recommend

This place is really a great place to stay when you want to see the Lion rock. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast included is also a bonus.

The place is not fancy at all, but it was quiet at night, I slept well. The museum is near. The host is hospitable and I had a really good breakfast, altogether for a cheap price

Very nice operator of this homestay. Jeep tour to the elephants was very impressive. The elephant families were 5 to 10 meters away from the jeep.... Without being disturbed. He also had a few other good ideas about what to do in the area. Breakfast very good and plenty. Absolute recommendation
