This was THE best accommodation of our trip. The owner was really nice, helpful, he did everything possible for us. The whole hotel was beautiful and our room? I slept like a princess. Food delicious, when we had an early trip outside, they gave us food package. Dinner was also really nice. Everything was clean, beautiful view at ocean. Definitely would go here again.

This is a beautiful hostel with amazing views and great clean facilities! It’s been the nicest one I’ve stayed in thus far! So close to the beach and great local restaurants! And the walk there Is beautiful!The hosts were very kind and lovely and even helped me plan my bus route up to ella! I highly recommend and was sad to leave!

Το Surf Lodge Madiha βρίσκεται σε Matara και προσφέρει παραθαλάσσια καταλύματα, σε απόσταση 400μ από Παραλία Madiha. Προσφέρει διάφορες ανέσεις, όπως κήπο, ιδιωτική παραλία και βεράντα. The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. Thanks for having us :)

The guesthouse is located in a very peaceful and quiet place, not far from the beach and stores. The owner, Paba, was very helpful and kind! Would recommend staying here!

We stayed in the small room attached to the main house; it was perfect for us! The bathroom was sooo beautiful haha it was like an outdoor shower surrounded by rocks (pictures on the listing don’t do it justice!!). The bed was super comfy and the AC worked great! It was so nice to come back to the cool space after a day in the heat. Make sure you keep the bathroom door closed or else the mosquitoes will find their way in! The kitchen we were able to use was great and had everything we needed. Lovely family running the place as well. Location was also really nice, jungle beach is close and there’s a nice restaurant next door. Would definitely recommend!!

We loved our stay at Wilson’s Place! The grounds and rooms were very nice. Rumesh was super helpful with local tips and helping us book taxis. Within walking distance to Hiriketiya beach and Blue beach.

I can't recommend this place enough! I felt part of the family and didn't want to leave. Jackie and his Dad are super friendly, the breakfast great, bed comfy and soft towels. Plus Yoga too! Five minutes from the beach and restaurants too.

The rooms were great. Nicest breakfast I’ve had in Sri Lanka (those omelettes 🔥). Jeremey and Roshan and all of the staff were amazing and accommodating.

Absolutely in love with the place that Wounderfull couple is managing! The whole team made out stay incredible and unforgettable, the varied so much about us almost every moment we stepped out of the room. Mr and Mrs Dias are always in the hotel, approachable if you need something. The hotel has a great security, it is not easy for strangers to come in. Also it is located on the Main Street it is very quiet and we slept well. The beach and some good restaurants are just couple minutes walk. The room was clean with everything you need, comfortable beds, hot shower with very good water pressure. Breakfast was very good with small compliments from the chef. We really enjoyed the place and would love to come back to this particular hotel next time we visit Sri Lanka.

The rooms are big, clean and spacious. The bed is huge with a mosquito net, windows that open and such a spacious garden, washing machine that works and a small kitchen, what a place. Felt home from Holland. Really good! Excellent even. In the evening it's quiet, WiFi is good!
