The location was lovely, across from the waterfall, and close to the start of Ella Rock trail. If you want a little secluded cabin in the wilderness, this is the place. We had incredible breakfast every morning, and they were so helpful and provided transport to town whenever we wanted. The service was outstanding and always with a smile! Highly recommend this place.

We had such a lovely stay at Wingate Homestay. The owner was so kind and welcoming, and she cooked us a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast every morning, always with plenty of fresh fruit – a real highlight of our stay! The room was charming and comfortable, with a mosquito net and a fan to keep things cool. The bathroom was modern and clean, with reliable hot water in the shower. The location is excellent – just a 5-minute walk into the main town, making it easy to explore Ella while still enjoying a peaceful setting. We originally planned to stay for a shorter time but ended up staying 3 nights because we liked it so much. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Ella!

Lovely small guesthouse in Ella. We were greeted on arrival and provided with lots of info on the best things to do and in the area. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean and we really appreciate the mosquito net too! The view from our little seating area outside our room was incredible too!
