Friendly staff and spotless room. The balcony looking out over the rice paddies was lovely. Rented bikes through them to tour the ancient city. Owner also arranged a eco-park afternoon safari with an excellent driver guide-we had a wonderful elephant experience. Breakfast and dinner were both worthwhile too.

The family who owns and operates the hotel are the nicest, sweetest people we met in Sri Lanka. The hotel has good AC, reliable hot water, is clean and has a nice breakfast. It is in a quiet neighborhood very close to the ruins, and you can walk to the reservoir to watch gorgeous sunsets. The family was a highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. We cannot thank them enough.
