He was able to help us arrange transportation to/from the guesthouse and also the safari jeep. The location is very quiet despite being by the main road. It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

At the guest house, the units are fitted with bed linen and towels. An amazing experience from an amazing family who go out of their way to give you the best experience. Went on safari with them, which was excellent… the food was excellent too!! This is the best accommodation in Wilpattu - you will not regret it!

Backwaters was a lovely spot on the doorstep to the western gate of Wilpattu. They organised a game drive for us (where we saw lots), a river trip and boat ride to our next destination. The rooms and grounds are full of nice, environmentally friendly touches, and the meals are great. Since the centre of the park is a little ways from this gate, a full day game drive turned out to be better than a half day - and allowed usto see lots of elephants at the end of the day.

The guest house features family rooms. The family was very friendly. The welcome juice was delicious! The room was clean. The bed was comfortable with a good mosquito net. The location was super calm and you can enjoy the sunset over the rice fields. It was very easy to arrange the half day safari with the hosts.

They helped us organise the jeeps to wilpattu. Everything went perfectly.

The hotel arranged us a tour and we had an unforgettable experience with the safari driver. We saw all the animals in the Wilpattu Safari. Leopards, Elephants, Bears etc. The driver has a great experience about the jungle and the roads. We went 3 kinds of safari in Sri Lanka and this was the best. I think this is the best place to go on a wilpattu safari tour. Very good & appreciate it!!
