This beautiful new boutique hotel is stunningly designed, with every detail carefully thought through and perfectly in harmony. The architecture blends seamlessly into the peaceful countryside, and the interior décor is refined and consistent throughout. The Tamegroute pottery in particular added such a unique touch. The palm tree-lined driveway creates a sense of grandeur as you arrive. From the terrace, the views of the surrounding landscape are simply breathtaking. The pool is delightful: the water temperature was just right, and the sun loungers were comfortable. We stayed in the most basic (and therefore cheapest) room, but it was absolutely perfect: beautifully decorated, a comfortable bed, and a fantastic shower. This is the ideal place to escape the busy work life and truly relax. Some other reviewers mentioned the access road, but we honestly don’t understand the complaints. It’s just a typical Moroccan gravel side road, easily manageable if you drive slowly – as you should anyway, since you often come across goat herds on the way! The food is delicious; not an extensive menu, but that makes perfect sense for such a small-scale hotel where guests often dine in Essaouira. This way, every meal is fresh and nothing goes to waste. The tajines were outstanding, cooked with love, and the breakfasts were a real treat too: different types of pancakes, bread, a freshly made omelette. What really sets this hotel apart is the wonderful staff. We have traveled to Morocco before and know the warmth of Moroccan hospitality, but the kindness and genuine care of this team were truly exceptional. During our stay, nothing was ever too much trouble. Each staff member, in their own way, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for, and they did it from the heart! They also had a wonderful team spirit among themselves, which made us feel like part of the Zayyna family. Saying goodbye was genuinely difficult.

Our stay at Villa des Hauts Mogador was an absolute dream. Nestled in the fragrant peace of the North African countryside around Essaouira, the villa offers a perfect blend of luxury, tranquility, and Moroccan charm. The villa itself is a thoughtful example of understated design, with unexpected vistas, tasteful decor, and stunning views of the surrounding hills and sunsets over the sea. The spacious and comfortable rooms are equipped with all the necessary amenities, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating stay. The highlight, however, is the lovely pool, which offers a happy escape from normal life. The warm hospitality of the owners, Nadia and Pierre, along with the attentive service of the staff, made our stay truly unforgettable. Malak and Sadia, in particular, were exceptional, preparing delicious meals and ensuring our every need was met. The villa's location is ideal, it’s a peaceful retreat whilst still being within easy reach of Essaouira's medina and beaches. The nearby restaurants, recommended by the villa's staff, provided some excellent culinary experiences. Villa des Hauts Mogador is a hidden gem that offers a truly authentic Moroccan experience of kindness and pleasure. We highly recommend this villa to anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable getaway.

Beautiful facility overlooking the surrounding campaign. The staff was very kind and the food, some of the best we’ve had in Morocco. They were particularly accommodating with our 1 year old son.

The place is just like the pictures. It's amazing if you are looking for a quiet and chill place. The rooms are spacious, the pool area and garden are stunning, and there's even a communal kitchen and living room. We arrived way later than we were hoping, but Simon arranged for someone to open the garage and give us the keys without any issues. Breakfast was great and we really enjoyed our time there, it was as peaceful as we wanted.
