The room and the place is just wonderful, nicely decorated, with an amazing breakfast, nice view from the terrace, a good and local vibe ( from the window you can hear at night the children playing football on the street until the parents tell them to enter the house). The guy from the reception (I can't remember his name, sorry, but the one with all the good reviews ) is very welcoming and happy to help us with anything ( he even upgraded our room, from 2 single beds to one king bed). We felt amazing there, the decorations are incredibly beautiful. White bedsheets, AC, room very clean. We stayed only for one night, but for the style, the paintings, feeling like a local, I will choose this place again and recommend it with all my heart! It is in the center, very easy to reach from the bus station, just follow the instructions. Near a lady that makes the most authentic Moroccan pies. Thank you again and hope to see you soon!

Super clean, lovely breakfast. The team were amazing, Aziz made dinner reservations for us and made sure we had the best table. Thank you!

If you want to see beauty and ambiance of chefchoan upclose , this is the place, we also had the kitchen , to make tea , we were given slippers to wear inside the property which were moroccan made traditional, I think that was a thoughtful detail. The breakfast was so good , best coffee and traditional breakfast, we are very happy we picked this place for our stay at chefchoan.

An absolutely beautiful and authentic hotel in the Blue City, with stunning design and a breathtaking terrace where they serve a delicious, picture-perfect breakfast. Everything was just perfect — we couldn’t find a single flaw!

يتمتع مكان إقامة "Iguana Azul" بموقع جيد في حي Old Town في شفشاون حيث يبعد مسافة 300 م عن Kasba، و300 م عن Outa El Hammam Square، و900 م عن Mohammed 5 Square. We spent two nights at Iguana Azul and were very happy with our stay. The riad is perfectly located—right in the medina, yet tucked away on a quiet and beautiful street just off the main road. Upon arrival, the receptionist, Walid, kindly offered us a choice between two rooms. The rooms were spotless, clearly newly renovated, with a comfortable bed and plenty of space. The rooftop terrace was a lovely place to relax, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. Amal at the reception was incredibly helpful in finding us the best way to travel from Chefchaouen to Rabat (note: when we were there, only one bus per day ran at 7 AM, but an alternative is taking a grand taxi to Tangier and then the TGV, which took us just 3.5 hours). We would have happily stayed longer—this is a truly comfortable, laid-back place, perfect for enjoying a coffee on the terrace with stunning views of the city. Thank you to the wonderful team—we highly recommend staying here!
