We had initially booked for 2 nights but ended up staying 2 extra nights because it was so nice. The vibe was lovely, the hosts were every kind and helpful. It was clean and had both a new looking ceiling fan and A/C that worked perfectly. The bathroom was small but very clean. The shower had hot water. There was also a kitchen that looked well equipped but we didn't use it. The location was good, only a 15 min walk from the ADO bus station and 30 mins to the town. You can also rent bicycles so it's faster! I would definitely recommend staying here 🙂

This was a last minute reservation for a single night. I wanted something that was peaceful and quiet. Casa Mexico Lindo exceeded all my expectations. The hosts, super couple, Debbie and Marco, were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout my short stay. Marvelous artwork and delightful details within the hostel that embraces aspects of the local, regional and national Mexican culture. I look forward to staying here next time I visit Bacalar. 🥰

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, 7 CIELOS BACALAR. Is situated in Bacalar. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The guest house has a private beach area. If we would be able to rate 7 Cielos at 12 out of 10, we would do it. The place is amazing, the location at the water almost too good to be true. The kitchen is convenient and very cosy, kayaks at disposal to explore the lake, which was a lot of fun. Sunbeds ans hammacks in the water finish the experience. Don't use this place as a stopover, but spend at least 2 nights here to enjoy the peace, the nature & the magic!

The restaurant at the guest house specialises in Italian cuisine, and is open for dinner and lunch. We loved staying here! Property is well kept and cared for. Large shared kitchen with everything you need and plenty of hammock and seating area around it. Santiago made us feel so welcome and was very attentive and kind (and had the best laugh ever!) Would recommend and definitely excited to come back :) Also a new restaurant just opened attached to it, and it’s a must try. It’s called Cheunic, gotta eat here for sure!

All rooms include a patio with inner courtyard views. 2 minutes walk to the ado busstation and very clean. Needed some rest. So this was perfect!

You can rent bike for a whole day. The athmosphere of the place is amazibg, if you need 100%hostel vibes, that place is for you. I met amaxing people there, kitchen is simple but enough for everything you need, they have hot shower and a gorgeous garden. And the lake is like 5-10 min by walk, it's really nothing.
