We stayed in Nipah guesthouse already 15 years ago and thought it was great then. Returning now has been amazing with lots of improvements (like a fine swimming pool.) The family that runs it are lovely and super helpful, the cottages spotless and comfortable, there’s breakfast facilities like toaster fridge, spreads and free tea/coffee all day and the garden is kept beautifully. Very close to beach, shops and restaurants, daily feeding of hornbills- it’s just a wonderful and peaceful place - the best we found in the whole of Malaysia - highly recommended!!

Surrounded by many animals, our kids absolutely loved it! The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped with a fridge, rice cooker, oven, microwave and various cooking utensils. The three staff members were very helpful, check-in was easy and the place was clean. We cooked rice at night and enjoyed having a steamboat in the kitchen, we just bring our own electric steamboat pot.

Easily one of the best homestays/B&B/hostels I've ever staying regardless of country. Well appointed, very clean, spacious, easily accessible, and overall comfortable. Fairly standard Malaysia terrace house, but with three rooms plus another upstairs in the loft. Master and loft come with ensuites, so 3 bathrooms in all! All nicely renovated, new, modern and clean. Towels provided in the bedrooms, with A/C and fans and beds and pillows were comfortable enough. Kitchen is fully decked out with marble table, microwave, cooktop, and even H/C water dispenser. Plenty of parking space and key was easily accessed through a lock box. And not to mention, the owner must be a keen gardener as there were lovely, beautiful pot plants to greet you at the front. Can't fault it at all.

They now have a mini fridge in the room which is very convenient. They also still have the lounge room if you want late snacks like Maggi and dispenser water. The Chinese uncle that took care of this place is very helpful, he saw my husband and I struggle to carry all the luggage with two babies to handle and he assisted without any hassle. Love how spacious the room is and the bed is super comfy. The room entertainment (TV) is a smart TV so you can enjoy your Netflix, YouTube etc. They will collect RM100 deposit upon arrival for you to have the automatic gate and door keys which is acceptable and refunded during check out.

Love the view from the house, sunset and sunrise here are beautiful. The house is cozy, neat, and clean. Makcik and pakcik is super nice and welcoming, gave us something to eat every morning eventhough they did not have to. Its very calming. Would definitely come here again.
