Yves is a great host and has a wonderful property. He has thought of everything for the guests' comfort - there is not on single thing I would change. The room was fantastic - great decor, AC and fans. The bed is so big and comfy and a waterfall shower with hot water - you cannot take this for granted in Nicaragua! The three course breakfast was wonderful - we loved the homemade jams for the crepes and the fresh juice. Location is fab too - centre of the old town so everything is in walking distance. On top of providing a fab experience, no additional request was too much for Yves - he organised our airport transfer and a driver for excursions. I cannot recommend this place highly enough - we are already looking for ways to visit again in future!

I rarely bother writing reviews but I enjoyed my stay at Hostel Azul so much, I thought I would leave a review on this occasion. I treated myself to the queen room, a Christmas present to myself! It was spacious, the bed was very comfy, the huge walk-in closet also had a modern clothes airer and the bathroom was large and clean and well lit. It all felt very modern. The pool, hammocks and the lounge chairs outside were great for relaxing and the large fridge came in useful, especially the ice and water dispenser. There was a choice of breakfasts. The tours I booked with the hostel were well-ran with very professional guides and transportation people. The owners of the hostel couldn’t have been more helpful, happy to their spend time with the people staying there and answering all the questions I had. They made me feel like family!

But the rental price is too cheap ! for such good location, warm service , public kitchen, free drinking water, private bathroom ,breakfast and the landlord Carlos’full attention n quick reply. Carlos’ n his family are well educated, he provides a quick city tour by car to make me impressed by his historical knowledge of Granada. This hostel is full of artistic atmosphere with his sister’s oil paintings are main decorations around.

The little cabañas are comfortable, the kitchen was one of the best equipped I’ve seen in Nicaragua, staff was nice and friendly and the garden is a lovely place to hang out, it would be nice though to have more hammocks there. People working there were helpful and friendly.

The hostal is very central in Granada. The host was super helpfull. We came back after late one night before check in. She waited for us until late to let us in to the hostal. We had a super time!

It's walkable to the market, centeral park, the lake, clubs, and public transportation. It's a great value! I recommend staying here!

Το Granados Guest House είναι σε Granada, σε απόσταση 18 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Ηφαίστειο Volcan Mombacho και διαθέτει καταλύματα με κήπο, ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης και βεράντα. Granados guesthouse was something special. Having been on the road for a little while, I knew that I would need a place to stay that was away from the hostels and allowed me to have some time for myself. As I turned the corner into the calle, I felt at home immediately. The surrounding neighborhood was very friendly and welcoming to me. Of course this extends to the hosts of the guesthouse. All of the people who work there were very helpful and very friendly. Even when there was a tiny bit of confusion regarding the cost of the stay (completely my own misunderstanding) the hosts explained everything in full. The suite was very clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable and there was more than enough room for maybe 3 or 4 people to be in this suite comfortably. The bedroom was well air-conditioned and, being the sole occupant, I was able to adjust it to my liking. There was no air conditioning unit in the rest of the suite, but it didn't matter because the fans were effective at spreading cooler air to the rest of the apartment from the bedroom. The air-conditioning was definitely needed and was very reliable. The WiFi was strong and the suite contained two televisions that worked very well. There's a veranda or terrace with two chairs as you come into the front door of the apartment . You have a perfect view of the Mombacho Volcano. It was perfect to spend time on it after a long hot day exploring Granada with an ice cold seltzer or beer. I enjoyed a couple of cigars too. I checked with Belford and he said that this was fine. Breakfast was made and brought up to the room for me in the morning by la señorita, she was very kind in helping me with directions to the bus station and help with my laundry. The food was ample enough for a keen hiker and explorer like myself. I am really pleased with my stay and will be recommending this place to everyone I meet.
