The view of the surrounding hills and villages was spectacular. The homestay staff was very attentive and provided authentic tasty food. The guy from the UK took us to look around the villages and introduced the meaningful innovative program to install water tank and pipeline for the village inhabitants. The unique experience brough us a closer look to the life of the local Tamang people.

The host was a wonderful gentleman. I had spent 3 months in Nepal and my last two nights were at this spot. If I’m lucky enough to be able to visit Kathmandu again I’ll certainly stay here.

The room and toilet were clean and odorless, the mattress was firm enough, and the pillowcases and sheets were so white that I couldn't bear to dirty them! Breakfast was provided and nutritionally balanced. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, with a Buddhist temple and a small park for meditation and walking. It was about a ten-minute walk from the Mangwan Pagoda. I would choose this accommodation next time.The most important thing is that the hotel has air conditioning, so you don't have to worry about being overheated in the summer.

Offering a restaurant, Mayur Restaurant that serves Indian and regional cuisines, Peacock Guest House is located 100 metres from the City Centre. Great location, authentic house, friendly staff. Bed was comfy, liked the small details in the room and around the house itself. Pretty nice breakfast.

Felt like home.
