The waterfront studio was one of the most scenic places we have stayed. The view is outstanding and the room is excellent. It was so good that we stayed in every night for dinner to enjoy the view and location. We were exceptionally well hosted and the room was great value with breakfast and cheeses provided. We would definitely return and recommend this for your next stay.

Το The Pacific Room, Tapeka Point, που διαθέτει κήπο, βεράντα και δωρεάν WiFi, βρίσκεται σε Russell και απέχει 200μ από Παραλία Tapeka Point Beach και 1,2 χλμ από Flagstaff Hill. Absolutely loved that we had chosen to stay in Russell for seven nights. The Pacific room was very spacious, we ended up with two rooms. The location is on a road that is easy to walk on to reach beaches at both ends. It was so quiet, and we enjoyed just being on our own, and not in the main streets of Russell. The bed was very comfortable. The hosts were very obliging and went the extra mile to ensure that everything was okay and provided extra baked goodies. The Pacific Room's facilities allow for simple self catering - as advertised there is a microwave, toaster, small fridge, cutlery and crockery. The hosts washed our dishes, as there was no kitchen sink, and they readily provided fresh towels ( we didn't have to ask!). We also appreciated that the hosts put the effort in to recycle anything that we separated from our rubbish as recyclable.

The steep hill was tricky, but the studio apartment had a great view over the harbor with an awesome sunrise. The room was furnished with a small sofa and a table for two at the window. The bed was to the side and was comfortable. The bathroom had modern fixtures as well as a lovely vintage vanity. The kitchen had a toaster, electric kettle, and a cooktop. We ate in the town, and took advantage of the historical sites nearby. It was very quiet and peaceful.
