Hotel Amaru Colonial has e perfect location - located in the old city, 5 minutes walk to Plaza de Las Armas, but still away from the noise and the crowd. Our room had a nice balcony overlooking Cusco. The breakfast was super good and tasty. WiFi was good. The receptionist had to restart our modem once, as we were not getting signal. You have to let the hot water run a bit before jumping into the shower. There was a heating in the night. Hotel sent us a taxi to the airport to pick us up - 30 soles and then the same when we were leaving. The hotel gardens are gorgeous. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Must visit the vegetarian place 2 min walk from the Hotel called Green Point.

Hosteria de Anita is a lively family-run guest house in the artistic San Blass District, central Cuzco. Features include colourful accommodations and a tour desk with a selection of regional excursions. It is located on a pedestrian street with stairs leading to the property. Beautiful place and decoration, very good location close to Plaza de Armas. Room was big with lots of closet space. Confortable bed and there was a heater in the room to help with the cold Cusco nights. Bathroom was also good with nice hot water. Room and bathroom were cleaned everyday. Good breakfast with toast, avocado, cheese, pancakes, honey, eggs and more. Coca tea available around the clock to help with your acclimation. Super nice and helpful staff that saved me by arranging a last minute taxi to the airport and loading my luggage in the trunk while I was getting back from a tour that was delayed. If not by them I would have missed my flight home. Recommend to anyone!

The property is located 3 km from Wanchaq Train station, 600 metres from Religious Art Museum and less than 1 km from Santa Catalina Convent. Cathedral of Cusco is less than 1 km away and Cusco Main Square is a 8-minute walk from the guest house. Angela and Mr. Alcides were extremely kind and helped us with everything through our trip. They went out of their way to make sure we had a nice stay. Antares and Inti were also great hosts and helped us be less homesick :) The location is great (10-15 minute walk to Plaza de Armas), worth noting that you need to go uphill to reach the hotel. The uphill hike is certainly worth it for the view.
