Most of all the host and her staff was all so friendly. Janice the host makes you feel very welcome and is very helpful. Also a person to mention is the neighbour Nick, who can help with pretty much everything and is a person who spreads good mood. Pool was nice, perfect temperature and open until 10pm which is pretty rare. Rooms were clean and WiFi was good.

The place is like a retreat - very peaceful and grounding atmosphere. Very private and beautiful place with private beach. You can't find a better beach for snorkeling from any hotel. My husband managed to see even a sea turtle.🐢 The food is very good (you can order from the restaurant near the hotel). The best thing about this hotel is fantastic, very personalized customer service. Lisa helped us to arrange taxis and day trips and helped with everything possible.❤️ If we come back to Moalboal,  we wouldn't even consider any other hotel than this.

An owner is a host you wanna have. Very nice and open guy making sure that you have a good stay. He has a scooter rental right there and he can easily help with any activity in the island with a good price (snorkeling, diving, canyonering in Kawasan, trip to Osmena Peak etc.). ATM at the gate, 1 minute walking to the laundy, 3 minutes walking to the bus to/from Cebu City, 2 minutes to 7Eleven. It is located a few minutes ride from the beach and an area with touristic bars, but from his place it is a few minutes walking to Jolibee and 10 minutes from McD and a big local supermarket. Rooms are very clean vs what I have seen in the rest of the island.

Me and my gf had an amazing time at this family owned establishment. The room is really as pictured, everything works and you can also feel the home has been carefully planed to give comfort to its guests. The hosts are really nice people, helpful and friendly and the view from the terrace is simply stunning! You can sit down at the tables they have on the terrace and look outwards the sea and watch sea turtles play or hunt in the sea, fishermen going about their business or locals swimming in the distance close to the beach. It's simply stunning, nothing short of that! But if you do not want to lay idle you can just open their sea side gate and take a dip in the sea....it's just amazing! For the price you pay, I wouldn't even try to find another place in this area. So if you are still wondering if to book here, you better hurry up and reserve because you can't regret it! I would not only come again but book at least the double or triple amount of nights here! Plenty of places to eat around and Oslob nearby and we discovered movie watching in Oslob village on a weekend night. Many villagers gathered in the plaza to watch movies on a big screen with English subtitles and audio. Salamat po for an amazing stay! Florin & Carly.

Located in Moalboal, 300 metres from Panagsama Beach, Roos Guesthouse has a garden and a terrace. It also features a a bar and a seating/lounge area. Loved the location! Super kind staff, really clean place, and delicious breakfast available all day 💕 You can book all the activities right from the hotel. It’s just a 5–10 min walk to Pescador Beach and about 6–8 km to White Beach 🏖️ Plus, there are lots of great food spots around the hotel!
