The owner was very kind and friendly and spoke English. He let us store our bags for a couple hours after check out. Plus, he has lots of kittens!!

Great water pressure in the shower. Beach blankets available. FYI bungalows stand separate but have a terrace facing common area and no "kitchen" (= outside sink). Double rooms are newer and have an amazing terrace facing garden, but you have neighbours and it could be annoying if they are too loud (we were lucky).

We've used a scooter all over the island and saw the resorts for £120 / £60 per night, I can say that this is way better, let's imagine if all hotels would be for free on this island, I would still choose Bangmee, initially we had 2 nights booked here but we added more, look no further, you found the spot. The host is incredibly hospitable, and his daughter helped us a lot with all the local activities and ferry logistics. One evening we didn't want to stay at a restaurant, we just ordered food for takeaway and went back to this place. Try the coconuts, after multiple holidays across the world, they proved to be the best.
