Everything about the Lotus Place Sukhothai was very pleasant and relaxing. Our host was very welcoming and helpful. The room was immaculately clean and comfortable. The breakfasts to order was delicious, filling and with the omelette and cheese omelette made to perfection.

Elegant Accommodations: Smilingface guesthouse in Sukhothai offers family rooms with private bathrooms, air-conditioning, and balconies. Each room includes free WiFi, a work desk, and a TV. historical park was close by and there were a few restaurants but no bars. Street food close by. At 6.20am the monks accepted alms on the bridge from the temple in the centre. Bicycles were provided for free. All in all a lovely experience.

Everything is so perfect. Finally, i extended 2 more nights here. The staff were nice, good service, daily clean room and a cute swimming pool. I feel so relaxed here. The place is more beautiful than the photos.

The lady that runs this place is so caring a kind and made my stay in Sukhothai very pleasant. She gave good tips, and even gave me a ride to the market as she was going as well. It had a nice little smokers nook off the side. You can rent decent bikes for 30bht a day and the breakfast prepared by the host was aroi mak! So good! I recommend having a Thai style breakfast 😎

The owner was so helpful in helping us rent bikes and book further travel the following day. The facilities were great and in a good location and she cooked us a lovely dinner. Would recommend!

We hesitated to book this hotel because there were only a few reviews. We booked it because it looked so nice and we are very happy that we did. Paolo (hope I spell his name right) and his wife are both very, very friendly. They do their up most best to make you feel welcome and taken care of. When we arrived we got useful information about Sukothai, what to see and when to see it. That information proved to be useful and correct. Breakfast is a surprise but we can tell you that it is excellent and more than enough. Not a buffet but personally prepared for you. The Thai name translates to Jasmin House. The location in this website/app is a little off although the address is correct, the location on Google Maps is the correct location. The Grab app does know the Guesthouse next door (see Google Maps) and that way we arrived without a problem. This hotel is quite new, the owners do have another, bigger hotel. Everything looks nice, you can sit in front of the reception and in the breakfast area, it is really nice decorated and peaceful. The location is excellent, just around the corner from the entrance of Sukothai historical park (with food market for dinner, free entrance in the evening) and around the other corner is a night market during weekends. The street itself is very quiet, which is good for sleeping. The rooms were very clean, the bed is one of the best we had last month, the bathroom is clean and the shower is good. We would definitely recommend this place, go meet Paolo and his wife and enjoy their hospitality. Another tip is to go to 'amulet learning center' (Buddhist votive tablets learning center according to Google Maps) which is just 2 km away. Less known but a very nice activity to do (we are 2 adults and an almost adult so it is not only for children).

The setting is absolutely breathtaking — surrounded by lush coconut trees, vibrant gardens, and endless views of rice fields as far as the eye can see. It’s the perfect place to unwind and connect with nature. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. We were greeted with fresh, delicious smoothies and refreshing ginger iced tea — a wonderful touch after our long journey. Throughout our stay, the hospitality was beyond anything we expected. On several occasions, we received complimentary treats like fresh watermelon, bottled water, snacks, and smoothies delivered right to our room, without even asking. What truly left a lasting impression was the kindness and dedication of the Villa Manager. On the day of our departure, our scheduled Grab car to the airport didn’t show up. Without hesitation, the Manager personally offered to drive us to the airport in her own car. That level of care and genuine hospitality is something we will never forget. Everything about our stay was exceptional — from the serene environment to the thoughtful service. We left feeling refreshed, cared for, and already dreaming of our next visit. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with world-class hospitality. This is not the Four Seasons Hotel, but the services will make even (Mr. Isadore Sharp) the Founder and Chairman of The Four Seasons Hotel proud.

A nice modern touch with comfy beds! The staff who run the place were attentive, kind and hospitable. We had breakfast delivered to our table every morning- traditional and fresh. The owner couldn’t do enough for him and we would certainly return should we pass through again.
