Quiet and not touristy area, I appreciated this place especially for the lovely people who work here, at the beginning I booked for 2 days but than I stood 2 weeks !

Beautiful new and well appointed hotel. Crisp laundry and spotless towels. Attentive and helpful staff. Beautiful infinity pool overlooking the sea. A place for peace and quiet - esp beach combing and bird watching along the mangrove fringed shore.

Wonderful location. And just 10 mins tuk-tuk/cab ride from the airport. The host was great at communication, so it helped informing him about the arrival (he sent a tuk-tuk) and the food in advance. These chaps took care of the whale-shark excursion the next morning, with a boat leaving from right there. Chill place. Would recommend. Good food as well.

Butiama Marine Camp is the perfect place to stay in Utende. There are so many activities, Meals are amazing, and the Beach is very walkable and quiet. Would absolutely recommend to all. While it can be a bit pricey with Marine Park fees, it is absolutely worth the convenience and comfort.

Ally is a very good host that tries his best to help and make you feel at home. I had the room with own bathroom and it was big and comfy. Staff makes really nice food. A bit of a walk to the nice beaches but cheap to go there by motorbike. Friendly people in the lokal area. Definitely one of the cheapest accommodation around. Buy a local SIM to have access to the Internet. Cold showers. Tours can be booked from here.

KK is extremely tranquil and perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of anywhere else. The setting is so peaceful hidden under the high canopy of the tropical forest. The staff are amazing and so helpful with anything on the island. The food is tasty and great value. The area has no other tourists so very quiet. The outdoor showers with Kerosene heating is pretty cool too.

it’s private, spacious and fits well with the nature. The bed is comfortable, staff vas very nice and yummy food. There is a choice of fresh seafood for lunch and dinner and fresh fruits available. Th ask pretty much all what we eaten the whole time and was really delicious. There is also a bar and bed hammocks which was great for relaxing. Hassan the host Organise a whale shark tour for us which we really enjoyed as that was the main reason. for visiting Mafia.
