This motel and cafe is a long time favorite of ours. They keep this roadside wonder in good shape. And the rooms on the back side of the hotel are very quiet.

Immaculately clean- nice decor & all necessary facilities in the room. Parking out the front & great location just coming into town from the north. Easy walk into town for dinner. Good that shower had dispenser shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Fridge, microwave & coffee machine were great. Table & chairs.

Great location in proximity with the ski park. Confortable beds, quick check in and check out. Spacious rooms.

Everything. A big comfy room, quiet, great location, clean, great bathroom and good value. We will return next time we drive Inerstate 5.

Generous counter space, allowed pets, clean, earplugs provided (necessary bcs next to train tracks), environmental effort (bulk shampoo/conditioner, recycle bin, etc), extensive tea choice. Upon my request hey put me a room they knew to be the quietest room #23, and I did not hear the train with earplugs.

Staff phoned me to find out when I would arrive and placed my room key in a lockbox outside the office. She also alerted me to a serious traffic jam on the freeway that delayed my arrival over an hour, due to an accident. She put the papers I needed to sign in my room, and a dog treat, because I would arrive after the office was closed. I liked the small size and ground level of the motel, and its quaint, rural wood walkway. It was fairly convenient off the freeway, and felt secluded.

Beautiful and peaceful setting with a view of Mt. Shasta. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Kris and David were great hosts and kris makes an amazing breakfast! I look forward to staying there again.
