Featuring a garden and views of garden, Napoli Hostel Cat Ba is a recently renovated guest house set in Cat Ba, less than 1 km from Cat Co 2 Beach. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Perfect location and clean room. The bus tickets organized via Gem are cheaper than those we found on 12goasia. Alas, accommodation was the last thing we booked when planing our Cat Ba trip. Breakfast was tasty.

Thanh Phong is a wonderful host, she speaks perfect English and looks after you wonderfully and gives perfect information. The room was clean and there was a lovingly prepared surprise and fruit for breakfast every day. I would have loved to stay longer. Thank you for your hospitality

The team at reception were kind and attentive, always with a smile, which made a big difference to my experience. The breakfast buffet was generous with both Western and Vietnamese options, all delicious. I joined one of the Lan Ha Bay excursions and it turned out to be a highlight — the scenery was breathtaking and the trip ran very smoothly.

The garden area is a great place to have a relaxing breakfast and coffee, or a cocktail or beer in the evening. Not to be forgotten are the authentic American pizzas, which she lovingly prepares fresh on site and even makes her own ricotta, as it is extremely difficult to find in Vietnam. Another highlight are her two animal companions: the lively dog ​​Sophie and the kitten Phoenix, who curiously wanders around the beer garden and is up for any game 😍 The homestay is looked after every day, whether it is painting doors or watering the countless plants. Everything here is made with love, so much so that we had to move on with a tear in our eye. The homestay was our absolute highlight! Thank you very much for this wonderful time!

The guest house provides mountain views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. We stayed in this room for 4 nights and it was amazing! The room was super clean and the bed was so comfortable… We are quite tall, but the bed was big enough, amazing! Special thanks to the homestay owner, he helped us with everything in Cat Ba, booking tours, renting a scooter and advising some good spots. We did not have to arrange anything ourselves.. He was super interested in our experiences and sweet. We would definitely recommend this cute home stay. Also the location is not in the middle of the city centre, which is nice for a bit of peace. It was really easy and helpful. Most of all, the host was super supportive!! Really made my trip way easier and much more flexible. Thanks!

Despite not knowing much english you got the sense that the staff were really trying to make my experience enjoyable but unfortunately they were behind from the start. The traditional Vietam breakfast was superb. They arranged a trip back to Hanoi Airport at a very reasonable price for me which was very much appreciated. The location was not serviced by Grab so the owner personally drove me on his bike for a Night excursion cruise. That too was much appreciated.
